Regardless of experience or gender, my best clients are those that have an open mind. Any preconceived notions, images or partial experience needs to be dumped out. A clean slate is the ticket to success here. In order to learn something new and different, you must be ready to SPONGE information into your brain. I get to meet a lot of people. A lot of really great people. Some have years of experience, others have none. Even if you have been freshwater fly fishing for a long time, you pretty much need to learn the saltwater casting tactics and techniques from the start. Standing on the bow of a boat with Striper's splashing all around you sounds awesome, but it's very frustrating to do with your flyline wrapped around your head. Before you think about hiring us for a day out on the boat, you need to start out with the basics. We STRONGLY suggest that you take a fly casting lesson and spend some time on a ballfield with your rod. Believe me, the time to learn is BEFORE you get on board.
