Our boat, "Reel Therapy" is a Jones Brothers Cape Fisherman, Light Tackle edition, is specially designed for fly fishing comfortably in the Northeast's demanding saltwater conditions. She is 20’ long x 8’ beam. With a leaning post on the bow and a poling deck astern, you will have a stable platform and an excellent angle to fish from. This vessel is an exceptional tool for what we do, just ask anybody that’s ever fished from one! Powered by a 150 hp Yamaha Saltwater Series engine, she wastes no time getting you to each hotspot with a smooth, stable ride. The boat is fully rigged with the latest safety equipment,as well as sonar and GPS.

We will fish the Backwater estuaries of the Raritan watershed and along the coastlines and open waters of the NY Bite. The Navesink, Shrewsbury, Raritan Rivers, and up into the Hudson, are all prime fly fishing hotspots. These areas offer you outstanding opportunities to pursue Striped Bass, Bluefish, Weakfish, Fluke, False Albacore and Bonito! These surprisingly healthy, local waters provide you with hard fighting game fish that are loads of fun on light tackle! Our fishing environment has changed drastically for the better and continues to do so, due to conservation practices and cleaner water.

We take pride in making your trip fun and hope to take you and your friends fishing for many years to come! We supply you with all the tackle needed and customize your trip to your level of experience and comfort. If you are new to the sport, we encourage you to try saltwater fly fishing and make your fantasy a reality! Fishing day or night from April through December, your trip is designed around your desires and of course, the species, tides and weather.

We trailer to and launch from a number of different sites around the area, adjusting to the fish and conditions. This reduces your travel time, saves gas (both on and off the water) and increases your fishing time! Trips include any tackle needed, we provide top quality fly tackle and always have spinning tackle and lures on board for non fly anglers. If bait is desired an extra charge will apply. Dress appropriately for the weather, and wear polarized sunglasses. White soled shoes or boots are required. A cooler is on board for your use so be sure to bring foods and beverages that you enjoy. Note that only two anglers can effectively fly fish at one time.
